Experience
As an English major at TCNJ I have a wealth of experience in both essay writing and the strategies and habits necessary to do well in any course. I have also taken numerous grammar classes that make me a reliable proofreader. For the past three summers, I have been a blog and copy writer for an Advertising Agency called GraficaGroup, and so am also familiar with less formal styles of writing. I have some informal experience tutoring essay writing to an Indian friend of mine who moved to America when he was 6 years old. If the desired tutoring is SAT specific, I also scored a 700 on the Reading section and 730 on the Writing section of SATs. Ultimately I want to be not just a tutor but a teacher. My plan after I graduate is to go to China for a year and teach English. Further in my career, I hope to become an English or Creative Writing professor at a college or university.
